He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cardini and Sally Cardini (Bass); his former wife Roma Cardini; his wife Patricia Cardini; and his brothers, Joseph and Robert Cardini.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas, Jr. (Diane Cardini) of Venice and SallyAnn Stroberg (Edward) of Killingworth; his stepdaughters, Cheryl Faught of East Hampton and Darlene Forline of Wethersfield; and his grandchildren, Paul (Kim Chaplinsky), Anthony (Wendy Chaplinsky), Todd Cardini of Rocky Hill and Heather (Scott Morris). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
