He is survived by: his spouse Nguyen Thi Xung; his son Nguyen Ngoc Thang (Nguyen Thi Ngan); his grandchildren, Nguyen Thi Thanh Truc (Nguyen Phuong Lam), Nguyen Jessica (Truong Bao Quoc), Nguyen Lynda (Vo Van Vuong), Vo Ngoc Chau (Le Jennifer), Vo Ngoc Uyen (Tran Huu Thinh), Vo Ngoc Tuyen, Doan Lisa (Phan Ngoc Hoa), Doan Sandy, Pham John, Pham Jimmy, Pham Jayden and Pham Jason; and his great grandchildren, Nguyen Quynh Nhu, Nguyen Quynh Chi, Truong Phillip, Truong Lilliana, Vo Aidan, Vo Evan and Tran Huu Khang.
