He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion Greenwood (Shedrick); his parents, Herbert A., Sr. and Elizabeth Greenwood (Kennedy); and his siblings, Elizabeth Spicer and John Greenwood.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Greenwood of Torrington, Karen Johnson (Donald) of Ellington and William Greenwood of East Hartford; his sister Helen Small of Manchester; his grandsons, Brett Johnson of Vernon, Larry (SueLee Balmer) and Justin (Akeysha Frawley); and also, Zeke, Xander, Chace, Gemma, Greyson and Emmett.
