She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Walter Tampellini; her parents, Edward and Rose DiRienzo (Ippodomonte); her children, Walter Tampellini, Jr. (Ruby), Beverly Tischer (David) and James Tampellini (Linda); her sibling-in-law Connie DiRienzo; her great grandchildren, Samantha Myers, Kaleb, Nathan, Zachary Roberts and Gavin Roman; her great great grandchildren, Carson and Colton Myers; and her siblings, Edward, Joseph DiRienzo, Lillian Fiorillo, Christine Coppola and Josephine Cots. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
