He was predeceased by: his sister Joanne Middendorf. He is survived by: his children, Richard Volo Jr., Zachary Volo, Lauren Herceg and Hilary Volo; his stepchildren, James Butler, Lindsey Butler and Ryan Wright; and his brother Joseph Volo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
