He is survived by: his parent Bradley Bowers; his stepmother Janice Bowers (Gow); his daughter Alyza Nieves-Bowers; his sister Melissa Bowers; his niece Serena Cordy; his stepsiblings, Brian Chaplik (Melissa) and Caren Kangas; his grandparents, Betty Mercer and Jack Mercer; and his significant other Lulu Parrella. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Because of Nick's love for dogs, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ansonia Animal Shelter, 2N Division St., Ansonia, CT 06401 or through the funeral director.
