He is survived by: his parents, Cornelia Malmberg (Oppenheimer) of Cromwell and Jeffrey Malmberg; his sons, Mason, Trenton of East Hampton and Finnian Gagnon of Middlefield; his brother John E. Gagnon, III (Violet) of Berlin; his nephews, Trevor and Connor; his siblings, Matt Gilman of Middletown and Heather Smith of Manchester; his great-aunt Ruth Shapiro; his aunts, Emmy Pavelka and Donna Gagnon (Brenda Stassola) of Middletown; and his uncle Robert Pavelka of Killingworth.
