With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mafalda Simmons of Cromwell, Connecticut, born in Essex, Connecticut, who passed away on August 23, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her former husband Robert Simmons of Middletown; her husband Muffie; and her children, Patricia (Cliff), Scott (Kathy), Gregg (Rebecca), Jeffrey (Inge) and Peter (Linda). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Muffie's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Resource Center of CT, 1261 South Main Street, Plantsville, CT 06479.
