She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Kovacik and Josephine Kovacik (Baroni); and her boyfriend John Odell. She is survived by: her brother Thomas Kovacik of Bradenton, FL; and her cousins, JoAnn Baroni Foristall (JoJo), Sandra Zajac (Baroni), Nancy Bennett (Wojtasik) and Ted Wojtasik (Barbara Calderone). She is also survived by many other cousins, family and friends.
Donations in her honor may be made to the CT Humane Society, CT Food Bank, Salvation Army or St. Jude's. A heartfelt thank you for the support of the Hartford Healthcare Home Hospice Unit (especially her nurse, Andrew) and Bel Air Manor in Newington for their expertise, care and compassion during a very difficult time.
