He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Wood and Evelyn Loree (Brown); his stepson Rick Marston; and his brother David Loree. He is survived by: his son Donald "Donnie" A. Loree, Jr. of Cromwell; his siblings, Daniel Loree of Rhode Island and Carolyn Meister of Willimantic; and his nieces, Julie and Karen.
