She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelaide Fox and Albert Purvis; her husband Michael L. Jackson of Illinois; and her brother Henry Purvis. She is survived by: her sister Maxx; her friend Mitch Hess; her siblings, Carol Boken of Rockford, IL, Darlene Thompson of Meriden, Lucille Vibberts (Brian) of Portland, Bernice Topliff (Bob) of Coventry, Wilma Higgins (Doug) of Broadbrook, John Purvis (Pamela) of Ashford and Stan Fox of Wolcott; and her godchildren, Brian Vibberts of Glendora, CA and Melissa Vibberts of Portland, CT. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and their respective children.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to Betty's favorite charity as she loved all children: St. Jude Children's Hospital.
