He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephan Dankiw and Rosalia Dankiw (Masleuch); his wife Marion Elizabeth Young; and his former wife Gloria Ceruti. He is survived by: his children, Rosa Winder (John) of Colchester, Michael Dankiw of Colchester, Andrew Dankiw of Vernon, Stephen Dankiw (Patty) of Lebanon, Stanley Dankiw, Jr. of Newington, Cathy Guadagni (Joe) of Haddam and Daniel Dankiw (Valleri) of Colchester; his stepchildren, Sharon, Gail, Carol and Diane; his sister Mary Zolubak of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Carri, John, Christopher (Samantha), Joseph, Michelle and Kida of Kristyn, JD; his stepgranddaughters, Jessica Crystal, Lisa, Angela and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Shawn (Kayla), Rylee, Nicholas, Abigail and Gabriel Jade; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Luis, Yamelette, Crystal, Niomi, Priscilla, Jalen, Tristan and Sonney.
