Louis Rota Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis Rota of Colchester, Connecticut, who passed away on July 28, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Rota and Eleanor Rota (Sanden); and his brother Jay Gugerty. He is survived by: his pet Zorro; his daughter Asia (Jayme Stone); his grandchildren, Autumn, Bentley, Layla and Nash of Tolland, CT; and his siblings, Jill (Russell Cooke) of Newburyport, MA, Dane Rota of Mason, NH and Curt Rota of Glastonbury, CT.

“So sorry to here about Loui. We used to hang out a lot when we were young teenagers. We would ride our mini bikes all over Westchester with Bob and Ron Clark some times Steve Clark and go camping on the weekend down be the Salmon river. We swam a lot at the rope swing on the Salmon river and jumped off the Lyman Viaducts many a times. Yes those were happy days. Lou's 3 hp mini would always break down but he new that bike very well and always got it going again. Well miss him.”
