It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey James Richard of Colchester, Connecticut, born in Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on April 20, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Richard and Pauline Richard (Putnam); his sons, Chris Richard of Ashford and Chase Richard of Ashford; his sister Julie (Joseph Romanowski) of Colchester; his granddaughter Maleah Richard; and his nephew Mason Romanowski. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
In death Jeff was able to give the gift of life through organ donation. To honor his loving and generous nature, the family asks that memorial donations of money or food be made in lieu of flowers to the Colchester Food Bank, 127 Norwich Avenue, Suite 205, Colchester, CT 06415.
