It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bruce Stauffer of Colchester, Connecticut, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 10, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold May and Thelma May (Hunchberger); his wife Georgia; his children, Keith Stauffer (Lori), LeeAnn Dance (Glenn) and Saundra Jezowski (John); his grandchildren, Lindsay Ferrer (Tony), Melissa Stauffer (Kevin Whittaker), Taylor Dance (Britta), Michelle Byrne (Michael), Casey Malone and William Dance; his great grandchildren, Austin, Abigail Byrne and Lindsay; and his brother Lance. He was also cherished by his daughters' swim meets, adored his grandchildren, and doted on his many cats.
Calling hours will be held at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home in Colchester on Monday, April 19th from 4-7 p. m. All Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.
