He is survived by: his spouse Renate Tryon; his parent Josephine Tryon (Haley); his children, Amanda Tryon Johnson (Alan), Juliana Tryon Ranaudo (Jeffrey), Vickie Shaffer (Archie) and Christine Linder; his grandchildren, Arabella Johnson, Eloise Ranaudo, Alyssa Wells, Lauren Curtis, Daniel, Kimberly and Nina Linder; his stepgranddaughter Athena Johnson; and his sisters, Margaret Tryon and Carolyn Abbey.
