She was predeceased by: her husband Vito N. Fortunato; her parents, Anthony Aurisano and Elena "Helen" Damiano (Mascia); and her stepfather Anthony Damiano. She is survived by: her daughters, Elena Fortunato of Bristol, Susan Dowling (T. J.) of Bristol and Angela Fortunato of Bristol; her siblings, Anthony Damiano of Bristol, Stephen Damiano (Josephine) of Southington and Lea Dolinsky (Lester) of Old Saybrook; and her grandchildren, Thomas J. Dowling, III and Lily Theresa Dowling. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
