She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Atherton and Lily Atherton (Walker); her siblings, Elaine Wry (David) and James Atherton (Sharon); and her sister-in-law Diane Atherton.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Matthews and David Herrick; her children-in-law, Michael Atherton (Patricia), Richard Atherton (Pauline), Doug Atherton and Sheila Porelle (Dan); her grandchildren, Christy, Gerrid, Shane, Kaylie, Jeremiah and Nicholas; her significant other Dale Herrick; and her friends, Debbie Cooper, Lynda Bouchard, Max, Amanda, Bristol Hospital, Suzanne, Jody, Lisa, Amy, Lynn and Mark. She is also survived by six grandchildren; siblings.
