He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maroney and Mary Suba Maroney; his daughter Tami Maroney of Center Sandwich; and his siblings, John "Bud" Maroney of Naugatuck, Elizabeth Miller of Woodbury, CT and Margaret Koonz of Bomoseen, VT.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Smail Maroney of Terryville; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Lenny Dorosh of Litchfield; and his granddaughters, Emily and Megan of Litchfield. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
