She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brown and Corinne Brown (Hall); and her daughter Susan Statkiewicz. She is survived by: her husband Richard T. Avritch; her children, Coe "Toby" Hawkins (Jaimie) and Julie Hawkins; her stepsons, Peter Avritch, Bruce Avritch (Alina), Steven Avritch (Valerie) and Matthew Avritch (Christy); and her son-in-law John Statkiewicz. She is also survived by Six grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
