He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin and Dolores Franklin; and his daughter Yvonne Battle. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Stanley Martin Pearson, John Alexander Pearson (Kimberly Grant) and Jennifer Elizabeth Pearson (Khasim Harrell); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Edna Pearl Pearson, Jayly Pearson, Kenzie Harrell and Khari Harrell. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Philip's memory may be made to West Haven VA Hospital.
