He was predeceased by: his brothers, Robert Hardy, Charles "Bud" Hardy and Donald Hardy; and his grandchildren, Courtney L. Hardy and Kelsey L. Massaro.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Hardy (Bernier); his children, Kevin D. Hardy (Tara) of Madison, CT, Karen S. Hardy-Massaro (Robert Massaro) of Cheshire, CT and Charon H. Squitiero (Geoffrey) of Madison, CT; his grandchildren, Morgan Libero (Michael Jr.), Ryan Hardy (Kathryn), Conor Hardy, Alyssa Diaz (David), Andrew Massaro (Dylan Schneider) and Alex Squitiero; and his caregiver Chloe Squitiero. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
