He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ellis and Carol Ellis (Cleveland); his siblings, Gordon, Douglas, Brian Ellis and Joan Zebrowski; and his sister-in-law Geneva Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth R. Ellis (Paul); his daughter Kerri Carroll (Steve) of Avon; his grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Aurora and Annalise; his sister Sue Puhalski (Thomas) of Barkhamsted; his parents-in-law, Chet Zebrowski, Richard Paul (Pia), Charles Paul (Sabine) and Barbara Manning (Paul); and his godsons, Willi, Henry Schmidt and Brian Zebrowski.
