She was predeceased by: her husband Duane DeRock; her sister Cornelia Nelson; her son Kim DeRock; and her grandchildren, Brenda Schafer and Josh DeRock.
She is survived by: her brothers, Lyle Lafferty and Richard "R. K." Lafferty; her children, Verona "Marie" Wolfe, Leroy DeRock, Bruse DeRock and Linn DeRock; and her granddaughters, Melody DeRock and Brandi DeRock. She is also survived by her daughters as well as eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
