He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Romero and Rose Romero of Capulin, CO.; and his brothers, Eloy (Jovita), Floyd and Jonny Romero.

He is survived by: his wife Jessica Vasquez; his son James Romero; and his siblings, Lilian (Lary), Eloisa, Darline (Jim), Gil (Theresa) and Tony (Val). He is also survived by many other cousins, aunts, uncles.
