He is survived by: his mother Opal McDaniel; his children, Leon Schrecongost (Brandi), LaKaya Mayes, Amy McDaniel (Luis) and Michelle De Leon; his grandchildren, Layne, Devon M, Devon J, Taylor, Savonna, Marissa and Leon Jr. As; his friend Vonna Schrecongost; and his siblings, Steve McDaniel, Dan McDaniel (Joann), Kelly McDaniel (Zorana), Scott McDaniel, Shawn McDaniel, Casey McDaniel (Anita), Diana Sidell (Denny), Jenni Bradley (Scott) and Wendy Metcalf McDaniel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
