He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Cullen; his children, Christy, Chris Cullen and Scott Cullen; his siblings, Jerry Cullen (Judy), Enid Kozlowski (Kevin), Michael Cullen, Pat Cullen (Pam), Chris Cullen (Sylvia), MaryAnn Gillig (Fred), Katie Homolka (Jim) and Elizabeth Cullen; his sisters-in-law, MaryAnn and Ruthann Cullen; his grandchildren, Kaley Cullen, Alex Alberici, Tyler and Sydney Cullen; his brothers, Jim and Kenneth Cullen; and his parents, James J. Cullen and Frances M. Cullen. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

“John was a good friend for many years. We celebrated Holidays at his home in our earlier years of friendships. He helped create my long driveway, after buying my small ranch when the County refused to maintain that portion which belongs to them. I enjoyed stopping by and saying 'Howdy' over the years.. I remember his sons when they were in their teens (now, grown men). He'll be missed. What a shocker it was to learn of his passing from a mutual friend when in a far away town today.”
