He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Rupp and Dorthea Rupp; his brother Eugene Rupp; his stepson Wayne Shisler; his son-in-law Bud Easton; and his grandchildren, Jessica Tameris and Michael Lee Haling Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Dina McCarty (Kevin), Debra Moore (Mark), Anne Rupp, Randy Shisler (Valerie) and Tracee Easton (Randy Purcell); and his grandchildren, Michelle, Mattie, Nigel, Ian, Joshua, Rachel, Nic, Zac, Carlee, Tabyre and Tahnee. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
