She was predeceased by: her mother Beverly Diane Choate (Butler). She is survived by: her father Harold Jay Choate; her husband John Joseph Schultz; her children, Taylor Williamson Schultz (Tara Nicole), Alexander Russell Schultz and Mason Andrew Schultz; her grandchild Tinsley Layne Schultz; and her siblings, David Anthony Choate, Paul Norman Choate, Deborah "Robyn" Shegda and Jennifer Dickinson.
