He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meyer and Clara Meyer (Grupe); his stepmother Mollie Meyer (Loos); his siblings, Ramona Anderson (Swen), Celia Anderson (Harold), Eunice Lund (Bud), Ruth Ann Sandersfeld (Arlyn), Evalou, Luella, Lewis Meyer (Mavis), Darwin Meyer (Mable), Clifford Meyer (Bonnie) and Erbin; his half-sisters, Sandra and Gloria; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Libra, Dean Libra and Philip Hummel.

He is survived by: his wife Vera Libra of Jackson; his son Michael Duane Meyer; his daughter-in-law Linda Lee Hinds of Aurora, CO; his daughter Meredith Faye Tinkham (family: Aelayna Nicole Meyer, Christopher Bolka); his son-in-law John Mark Cleaveland of Edwards, CO; his great grandchildren, Griffin and Greer Bolka of Tulsa, OK; his grandson Riley Emerson Tinkham of Westcliffe, CO; his half-brothers, Larry Meyer (Vickie) of Edmond and Charles Meyer (Donna) of Cleveland, MN; and his sister-in-law Lois Hummel (late Phil) of Miramar Beach, FL. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
