He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Balcer (Dooley) and Terrance Balcer; his children, Zoey of Parker, Alex of Parker and Mazzy of Parker; his siblings, Andrew, Michael Balcer of St. Louis, Kris (Ben), Kaden Mossman and Jennifer Sweeney of Parker, Colorado.; his grandfather Martin Dooley (Helen) of Fairview Heights; his aunt Patricia Gregory (Bob); his uncles, Martin Dooley (Joan) of Timnath Colorado and Daniel Dooley (Pam) of Morton Illinois; and his friend Regis. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.

He had worked as an IT Manager for many years and most recently at Zion Engineering, until it closed permanently due to the Pandemic in late 2020.
