She was predeceased by: her parents, John McCloskey and Sarah Jane McCloskey (McMenamin); her brother Patrick; and her husband Lester J. "Mike" Michiels of Orlando, Florida.. She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Thornton (Melluish) of Thornton and Louise Maultsaid (Melluish) of Wairoa; her siblings, May Mellon (McCloskey) of Northern Ireland, Jean Devlin (McCloskey) of Northern Ireland, John McCloskey of Northern Ireland and Monica Curry (McCloskey) of Northern Ireland; and her grandchildren, Sean Thornton (Alex), Shannon Thornton, Caera Thornton and Scott Maultsaid. She is also survived by one great grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
