She was predeceased by: her parents, Genaro Martinez and Theresa Martinez; her husband Manuel Alonzo Vega; her son Manuel Alonzo Vega Jr.; and her grandsons, Manuel Alfred Vega, Christopher Sierra and William T. Cardon.

She is survived by: her daughters, Georgia Apodaca, Rebecca Kokal and Guadalupe DeHerrera; her siblings, Charles Martinez and Ramona Williams; her grandchildren, Michael Acosta, Lisa Carter (Brian Carter), Michelle Martinez-Cardon, James Martinez Jr. (Miranda Gotkin Martinez), Jeraldo Martinez, Andrea Vega Sierra, Pamela Claudio (Jonathan Claudio), Kristel Vega (Eric Fuentes), Steven Vega, Mark DeHerrera (Angela DeHerrera), Michael DeHerrera and Jeremy DeHerrera; her great grandchildren, Jillian Acosta, Nathan Carter, Olivia Carter, Alexandra Bogar (Steven Bogar), Cheyenne Cardon (Andrew Duran), Jeremiah Cardon, Christopher Sierra, Jonathan Sierra, Eric Fuentes Jr. (Megan Fuentes), Ellie Fuentes, Brianna DeHerrera, Mark DeHerrera Jr., Ashleigh DeHerrera and Ares Claudio; her great great grandchildren, Elias Acosta, Jocelyn Duran, Aleah Fuentes, Ryleigh Gutierrez and Ailee Jo Orozco; and her siblings, Bonaficio Martinez, Joe Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Robert Martinez, Genaro Martinez Jr., Mela Lovato and Esmeralda Duran.
