We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2021, at the age of 70, Roxana Darnell of Las Animas, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Smith and Rosella Smith; her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Smith and Howard Arthur Smith; and her parents-in-law, Walter and Lyda Darnell.
She is survived by: her husband Freddie Darnell; her children, Ferlin Darnell (Janelle) of Amarillo, TX, Rebecca Diggs (Zach) of Concho, AZ and Sara Bain (J. T.) of Ashland, OK.; her grandchildren, Alaina, Ty Diggs, Mattie, Mollie and Maccie Bain; her siblings, Connie Harris (Richard) of Las Animas, CO, Anita Kuhn of Cheraw, CO, Sherri Kerr of Lamar, CO, Crystal Martinez (John) of Colorado Springs, CO, Lori Palmer (Brian) of Pueblo West, CO and Bret Smith (Buffy) of Las Animas, CO; her half-siblings, Tammy Ingraham (Marvin), Julie Thomas (Joe), Shannon Smith and Will Smith (Caby); her stepbrother Brian Smith; and her brothers-in-law, Eddie Darnell of Lakin, KS, Jimmy Darnell (Donna) of Syracuse, KS, Robert Darnell (Ruth) of Las Animas, CO and Jackson Mitchell. She is also survived by eight siblings: three brothers and five sisters, as well as two half-sisters, two half-brothers, and a stepbrother.
