Oliver John Alvarez Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2022, at the age of 79, Oliver John Alvarez of Las Animas, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver Alvarez and Ruby Alvarez; his wife Cheryl Moore; his former wife Joyce Stephenson; his children, Shelley Velez (Louis), Shawna Alvarez and Sheri Molina (Erick); his stepsons, Stephen Moore (Cynthia) and Jeffrey Moore (Nicole); and his siblings, Thomas L. Alvarez and Regina Faye Alvarez. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of his favorite charities, Wounded Warriors or the VFW in care of Horber Funeral Chapel, P.O. Box 431, Las Animas, CO 81054.
