It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman Leon Childers of Las Animas, Colorado, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Childers and Inez Childers (Reed); his son Scott Childers; his former wife Shirley Moore; and his siblings, Bill, Margaret, Lenora and Everett.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Rebel (John) of Las Animas, Colorado; his sister Bertha Sorley of La Junta, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Bill Rebel, Jessica Rebel (Anthony), Gemma Childers and Samantha Hines (Cody).
