It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Maes of Las Animas, Colorado, born in Jaroso, Colorado, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perfecto Garcia and Maclovia Garcia (Quintana); her husband Frank H. Maes; her children, Sally and Daniel Maes; her children-in-law, Freida Maes and Tim Martinez; and her granddaughter-in-law Jamie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Wilbert Maes (Jenny) of Las Animas, Beulah Martinez (William) of Las Animas, Bonnie Martinez of Las Animas, Richard Maes (Shirley), Jack Maes (Anita Nunley) and Sandra Cardoza (Ron); and her sister Evelyn Aguilar. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
