With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jacobs (Las Animas, Colorado), born in Hebbronville, Texas, who passed away on June 2, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Kenneth Johnson, Walter Johnson, Jane Vigil and Betty Hathoot; her son-in-law Richard Schafer; and her grandson Diego Montoya.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Jacobs; her sister Sarah Galassini (Harry); her sister-in-law Mary Ena Johnson; and her children, Mary Ellen Schafer, Carolyn Montoya, Linda Heyer (Jerry), Michael Montoya, Orlando Montoya (Luanne) and Donald Montoya. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
