She was predeceased by: her father Larry Shaw; and her sister Leslie. She is survived by: her mother Kathy Metcalfe (Rich); her sisters, Jeni McCullough (Duane) and Emily Barrett (James); and her friend Dwight Buford. She is also survived by three nephews, one niece, and one great niece.
Laura worked at Goodwill for many years where she sorted donations.
