With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Ingraham (Las Animas, Colorado), born in Alkabo, North Dakota, who passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amund Svendson and Kari Svendson (Iversen); her husband William "Bill" Berger; her siblings, Arnold, Ida, Selmer, Myrtle, Palma, Kenneth and Nina; her grandson Tracy Ingraham; and her great grandchildren, Chelsea and Mahlon.
She is survived by: her sister Mabel Sunsted of Montana; her children, Wesley Berger (Pat) of Durango, Wanda Shade (Ron) of Canon City and Emilie Broce of La Junta; her grandchildren, Tammy Jo Ingraham (Marvin) of Greeley, Shannon Smith of Colorado, Brian Smith of Vilas, April Wright of Colorado, Julie Thomas (Joe) of Las Animas and Will Smith (Caby) of Las Animas; her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Damon, Dylan, Hayleigh, Jerrod, John Luke, Jonathon, Jordy, Justin, Lisa, Marvin Jr., Nikki, Olivia, Ryann, Shane, Shawn, Tessa, Ysabella and Zoey; and her stepsons, Earl Ingraham of Gillette, Marvin Ingraham (Tammy) of Greeley and William "Bill" Ingraham of Gillette, Wyoming.. She is also survived by 14 great-great grandchildren.
