He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Spry and Pearl Elsie Phillips (Scaman); his son Albert Leland Phillips; his grandson Clayton Ray Morlan; and his siblings, Carl Sterling, Charles Phillips, Don Phillips, Evaline Kenworthy, Virginia Stoker and Rosella Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Jean Phillips; his children, Galen Phillips (Sharon) of Cheraw, CO and Susan Morlan (Dale) of Las Animas, CO; and his sisters, Darlene Sacks of Peabody, KS and Fern Morlan (Harold) of Las Animas, CO. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
