He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Stech and Christine Stech. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne L. Spaulding; and his children, Hilary Knight (Paul), Lisa Stech (Tom O'Bien) of Kalamazoo, Bill Stech (Margaret) of Chelsea and Preston (Staci) of Highlands Ranch. He is also survived by several grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
