He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Simpson and Bertha Simpson; his wife Phyllis Simpson (Beal); his sons, Alan (Lori), Ron (Becky) and Brian (Rondelle); his grandchildren, Alan Jr. (AJ), Jon, Zach, Lucy, Alex, Dillion and Rani; his great grandchildren, Emma and Lena; and his sisters, Fern Childress, Bertha Crites, Serene Pence and Anita Johnson.
