He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, James Dean Piper (Jeanne) and Deborah Annette Piper Copher (Todd); his stepchildren, Rhonda Birt (Glen), Robert Clark (Shawn), Becky Samples (Edwin) and Rachael Tomblinson (Conrad); and his siblings, Barbara Grace and Tom Piper (Marge). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
