With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carol Ann Burns (Grand Junction, Colorado), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carol Ann left this world on March 31, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Carol Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carol Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Roy Rickstrew and Etta Lou Buffington. She is survived by: her child Byron David Burns (Dara); her husband Stephen; and her children, Billie Milham (Rodney) and Kelley Burns (Roja). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and more family and friends.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in Carol's name to Garfield County Search and Rescue or Calaway Young Cancer Center.
