He is survived by: his wife Alice; his daughter Kara; and his siblings-in-law, Wilbur Mauck, Tom Walsh, Terry Briggs, Linn Lujan, Nancy Walsh, Carol Walsh, Kathleen Briggs, Angela Walsh and Karen Walsh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Western Slope Veterans Coalition and St Stephen's Catholic Church. And per Kara's request – the Glenwood Spring Police Department to assist with the purchase and training of a new K-9 dog.
