Mary Spencer DeGroot Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Spencer DeGroot of Fountain, Colorado, born in Pomeroy, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Spencer and Edna Spencer; her husband Raymond L. DeGroot; and her siblings, Elson Spencer, Dayton Spencer, Waid Spencer, Avis Spencer Bing and Vance Spencer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Gray (Bunnie), Gail DeGroot, Leona Hodges, Laura Floyd and Henrietta DeGroot Moore; and her grandchildren, Lisa Sheets, Deborah Gray Baker, Renee Gray Whitley, Tanner, Trenton, Nathaniel Hodges, Michael, Alexander, Logan Floyd, Avery, Cameron and Eris Moore. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews.
