George A. Winkler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George A. Winkler of Brush, Colorado, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Winkler and Riggle; and his siblings, Fred Winkler, Kathleen Campbell Adams and Mary Carver.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jeff Winkler of Palm Springs, CA, Jeri Scheere (Dwayne) of Tucson, AZ, Barbara Frahm of Brush and Mike Winkler of Fort Morgan; and his sister Evelyn King of Brush. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Brush Area Museum and Cultural Center, 314 Clayton St, Brush CO 80723.
