He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Wahlert and Arthur Wahlert; and his siblings, Pete Wahlert, Alice Thoms and Arta Everett.
He is survived by: his wife Doris; his siblings, Alta Griffin and Bruce Wahlert; his children, Amy Ely (Mike) and Neil Wahlert; his grandchildren, Erin Goff (Allen), Matthew Ely (Caty) and Christopher Ely (Christine); and his great grandchildren, Cole, Ava, Michael Goff, Emma, Leo, Cecilia, Annabelle and Adeline Ely. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
