It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Linda Marquez of Alamosa, Colorado, born in Greeley, Colorado, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melecio Sandoval and Victoria Salazar Sandoval (Miguel "Larry" Marquez); and her siblings, Lucas Sandoval, Jose Sandoval Jr. and Martha Atencio.
She is survived by: her children, Ida Sandoval-Gatchell (Gari) of Thornton, CO, Jeremiah Marquez (Monique) of Monte Vista, CO and Melvin Sandoval (Trish) of Frederick, CO; and her siblings, Irene Ortega of Questa, NM, Edith Steele (Tom) of Kapolei, Jenny Mondragon of Northglenn, CO, Marie Perea of Westminster, CO, Johnny Sandoval of Ely, NV and Dennis Sandoval (Eva) of Erie, CO.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
